I’m Silvia Pasqui, a photographer based in Mentana, and my work is to tell families exactly as they are: honest, lively, full of small gestures that become lasting memories. I specialise in family photography because there is nothing more precious than everyday relationships — the smiles, the hugs, running on the beach at sunset, the quiet moments at home. My style is natural and unobtrusive: I aim to bring out authentic emotions, almost as if I weren’t there. My philosophy is simple: create a relaxed, welcoming environment where people can be themselves. Before the session I speak with each family to understand expectations, meaningful places and the little details that make their story unique. I work both outdoors — I love sunset shots by the sea and walks in the park — and in studio when you want more intimate portraits or sessions with newborns and babies. For expectant mothers I organise maternity shoots from the 26th week onward, highlighting tenderness and couple connection. For newborns my approach is gentle and respectful of the baby’s and parents’ rhythms: I try to capture those first precious moments and family bonds with natural poses and attention to the baby’s comfort. I also enjoy documenting small milestones — from newborn albums to birthday shoots such as smash cake — and important ceremonies like baptisms, always with the same sincere perspective. I pay careful attention to image selection and post-production: every photograph is edited to restore the light and atmosphere I experienced in that moment, keeping the result clean and free of excess. My goal is to deliver photographs you will look at tomorrow and in ten years and feel exactly the same emotions.
