I’m Erika from Foto di Cioccolata and my photographic practice is born from a love for intimacy: I look for the truth hidden in simple moments, those everyday gestures that become memory. In Sesto San Giovanni I created a warm, light-filled studio designed as a nest where parents and children feel welcome and free to be themselves. My positioning is clear: I am a family photographer, specializing in telling stories of relationships, affection and the small daily moments that matter for a lifetime. Why choose me? Far from rigid poses, I favour natural images: I smile little, observe a lot, and wait for the right moment to press the shutter. My background in reportage and portrait photography, combined with specific newborn training and continuous dialogue with fellow professionals, allows me to work competently even during delicate moments such as birth and the very first months of life, always keeping the children’s safety and wellbeing first. How I work: the relationship comes before the shot. I will guide you through the preparations, we’ll choose the location together — my studio near the MM1 Sesto Marelli or an outdoor sunset spot — and we’ll build a relaxed atmosphere that encourages spontaneous interaction. I offer studio sessions for newborns and babies, maternity shoots and family documentaries such as One Day or Fresh24, created for those who want to preserve a full account of their everyday life.
