I’m Kim Magnago, a photographer based in Chioggia with a deep passion for family photography. My work is born from the desire to tell your true stories: I don’t look for staged poses but for sincere moments, small everyday gestures and spontaneous smiles that, over time, become the most treasured memories. I position myself as a specialist in family photography: my approach is inspired by reportage, designed to put you at ease and let the natural dynamics of your relationships emerge. I prefer to photograph life as it happens — play on the rug, slow breakfasts, cuddles on the sofa — because those details define your identity as a family. I mainly work in Chioggia and am also available in the provinces of Padua and Venice, with travel across the Veneto region when required. How I work with families: first we get to know one another. A meeting or a chat helps me understand your wishes, routines and the places that best represent you. Many sessions take place at home, since the house offers familiar sounds, light and scents that soothe children and make images more authentic. I can also shoot outdoors, using natural light and the locations you love. During the session I create a relaxed, playful atmosphere: I’ll ask you to do what you normally do, allowing children and little gestures to guide the scene. This method produces honest photographs, full of emotion and beautifully imperfect — just like real life. Beyond family portraits, I offer complementary services for newborns, children and ceremonies (baptisms, communions, birthdays) as an additional option to the family package; these are always treated with the same respect for naturalness and feeling.
